The University has 3 hostels (1,4 & 5) for foreign students located close to the University main campus and with all other infrastructures at the surrounding. Twin sharing and triple sharing rooms are available with the basic amenities. There are common kitchens at every floor fitted with electrical stoves and water supply. Hostel accommodation is given to all students subject to availability. 2 Bungalows are rented for student to live in.
Food
There are various types of restaurants inside and nearby the University. Those who wish to cook their own food, could do so as most of the fresh foods, including halal foods, are available at the wet market and the supermarket nearby.
Banking Student are advised to open an account with the local bank situated within the university. Money from any part of the world can be transferred to such account. Alternatively students can open an account with the Malaysian banks and carry along any ATM card with the word "PLUS" or "CIRRUS". BSN Maestro and Maybank accounts are recommended. There is a bank situated next to the University itself. Students are advised to keep about USD300 in their bank accounts for emergency purposes. The exchange rate for one USD is accruding to Bank Rate. (27 and 30 roubles per USD).
Telephone Communication There are cyber cafes within the campus and outside the campus which student may surf at. Public telephones are placed at the lobby of each hostel and students can also apply to get private telephone lines on their own. Student may also buy hand phones and SIM cards for easy communications and SMS.
